Beyond Healing into Thriving
Personal Development and Life Coaching for Individuals
An investment in coaching is an investment in your future self.
Through personal development coaching, you pause to evaluate your priorities, thoughts, belief systems, habits, relationships and approaches to life. In place of reverting to old patterns, you take a look at the big picture to see what is working and what needs to shift. Life coaching is a proactive tool that supports you in making a game plan before diving in full speed. It’s a reset in preparation for a happier life.
Is a life coach worth the investment? Absolutely. Far beyond what you invest in returns to you as greater clarity, organization, communication, purpose and success.
This is powerful work.

Why Should I Partner with a Life Coach?
Partnering with a life coach sends a message to yourself and the universe that you mean business. You no longer choose passivity. Instead, you commit to greater ownership of your life.
In my time as a coach, for well over 2000 sessions, so many clients have shared how transformational this work is. How do I support this transformation? I help those stuck in a job or career identify the self-imposed limitations, including imposter syndrome, holding them back. Procrastinators are invited to take a look at the “benefits” of their habits (we all do things for a reason) and how to access these benefits in healthier ways. I prompt overachievers to access greater work-life balance through boundary setting, delegation, focus time, and improved organization as they explore healthier options to people-pleasing and perfectionism. I empower those afraid of public speaking to tap into more affirming energy and self-confidence. Clients learn how to create and maintain healthier relationships through increased self-esteem, effective communication (including finding their voice), emotional regulation, independence, and greater connection to self.
I also help clients develop and maintain realistic wellness routines through improvements in sleep, exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, limited screen-time and downtime. Wellness often involves decluttering - and not just of objects. Decluttering applies to habits, overthinking, digital overload, unhealthy relationships, worry, cognitive thought distortions and negative self-talk.
There are countless reasons to work with a life coach! Where would you like to start?

What Can I Expect from a Life Coach?
In coaching sessions, you take the lead. As your life coach, I hold the space for your work, keep the conversation on track, point out unhelpful thought patterns, habits or discrepancies in your vision (life is complicated - they always show up!), and suggest a shift to an action plan.
We partner to tap into your strengths, intuition and knowledge that empower you throughout. I have a wealth of resources and powerful perspectives to share with you; you determine if they resonate. Sessions are completely confidential, and there is never, ever any judgment. We ALL have our stories and processes, and you are encouraged to own and be proud of yours.
Our work together is results-oriented. You set goals with intermittent action steps and identify how to tackle potential obstacles that may TRY to get in the way. Although this is not therapy, we do take a look at emotions and mindsets in order to facilitate more meaningful work.
How Often Should I Meet with a Life Coach?
You determine the cadence that is right for you. Some clients benefit from just one session. Some schedule whenever it is a good time for them, and some book ahead weekly or biweekly. Consistency, for a number of sessions, can be very beneficial, but that is never expected. Our sessions last 50 minutes, with email follow-ups. I offer “mini sessions” (25 minutes) as well for quick goal setting refinement or accountability checks.
Personal Development and Life Coaching:
How We’ll Work Together
My 4-step process - “Understand, Identify, Label, Shift” - is the foundation of our work:
Understand
Gain clarity into your cognitive biases and unproductive habits. This self-awareness is the first step to transformation.
Identify
Recognize when these thought distortions and unproductive habits sneak into your life. Pinpoint the triggers that activate them and explore proactive strategies.
Label
Label old patterns immediately. Consider other options. This is the time to pivot towards greater success.
Shift
Use your newfound self-awareness, confidence, and improved communication and time management skills to create new, healthy thought patterns and habits.
Depending on a client’s needs, I craft my approach from a variety of coaching styles: Democratic Coaching, Solutions-Oriented Coaching, Transformational Coaching, Holistic Coaching, Shadow Work Coaching, and The Tools Coaching. Read more about each of these in my blog, “Which Life Coaching Style is Best for You?” You are free to ask for accountability checks and “homework” between sessions. We can share Google Docs, spreadsheets or other forms of documentation/journaling to maximize our work together and advance your progress.
No matter which coaching styles resonate with you, the benefits of working with a personal development life coach extend far beyond your sessions. A highly impactful life coach meets you where you are and offers carefully-blended coaching techniques that leave you feeling freer and more powerful. Let’s get started today!
